Game of the Night: Simcoe Giants 11U Tier 1 at Waterloo Tigers 11U T1 AA
On the road in Waterloo, the Simcoe Giants 11U Tier 1 set the tone early. Carter M turns on a pitch and laces a two-run double to put the Giants in front. Corbin S follows with an RBI single, and just like that Simcoe has the kind of early cushion every road team wants.
Waterloo does not go quietly. The Tigers chip back and pull the game close, the way good Tier 1 opponents tend to. For a few innings, it stays anybody's ballgame.
Then comes the 6th. Simcoe puts up a four-run inning, the big swing that decides the night. The Giants pull away and do not look back.
Road wins in Tier 1 are never easy, and answering an opponent's push with a four-run rally is the mark of a team that knows how to close. A strong night for the Giants away from home.
Final: Simcoe Giants 11U Tier 1 9, Waterloo Tigers 11U T1 AA 6.
