Game of the Night: Simcoe Giants 13U Tier 1 vs 13U Yellowjackets

Friday night at Simcoe Lions Park, the Giants 13U Tier 1 set the tone from the mound. Starter Dexton M takes the ball and gives the Yellowjackets nothing. Three innings, no hits, no runs. That is the kind of outing that lets a whole team settle in and play loose.

The bats reward him. Simcoe breaks it open in the third, hanging four runs in the frame. Madden V slaps a single to keep the line moving, and Blake L drives one into the gap for a triple that clears the bases and puts the Giants firmly in control.

From there it is steady Giants baseball. They keep the pressure on, keep running the bases, and keep the Yellowjackets chasing. The visitors get one back when Liam D turns on a pitch and sends it out for a solo home run in the fifth. It is a nice swing on a tough night, but it barely dents the lead.

Final: Simcoe Giants 13U Tier 1 12, Yellowjackets 3.
