Game of the Night: Simcoe Giants 13U vs Kingsville Knights
Saturday at Simcoe Lions Park, the Giants 13U Tier 1 walk into the second game of their doubleheader already rolling. Game one was a 20-0 statement, capped by a fifteen-run first inning and a 3-for-4 day from Dexton M (triple, double, single). The nightcap against the Kingsville Knights does not come so easy.
Kingsville hangs a six-run third and grabs the lead, and for a stretch the Giants are chasing. Then the home dugout wakes up. Simcoe pushes five across in the sixth to flip the game, then tacks on two more in the seventh for breathing room. Isaac N is the engine, going 3-for-4 with a double. Jase F and Landon C each chip in RBI singles to keep the line moving.
Kingsville does not go quietly, but the cushion holds. The Giants close it out and walk off Lions Park with a clean doubleheader sweep.
Final: Simcoe Giants 13U 11, Kingsville Knights 9
