Monday night belonged to the Simcoe Giants 13U Tier 1, who blitzed the Brantford RedSox14-4in a one-sided rout. Elsewhere across Norfolk and Haldimand, the Haldimand Heat 11U put up 22 runs in a blowout of their own, Jarvis U15/17 squeezed out a one-run road win over the METS, and Walsingham Senators 11U kept rolling with a lopsided win over the Caledonia Bears 11U Rep.
Game of the Night: Simcoe Giants 13U Tier 1 vs Brantford RedSox
The Simcoe Giants 13U Tier 1 came out swinging Monday night and never let up, cruising to a 14-4 win over the Brantford RedSox. Madden V. set the tone at the plate, going 4-for-4 with 4 RBI and driving the Giants' offense from the first inning on.
On the mound, J. Wright handled the bulk of the work over four strong innings to earn the win, and Chase S. came on to slam the door with two scoreless innings of relief.
Brantford tried to answer. Madden F. drove in a pair of runs to keep the RedSox in it early, but the Giants' bats were too deep and too hot. By the middle innings, Simcoe had turned a competitive game into a laugher.
It is the kind of win that keeps a Tier 1 club rolling into the heart of summer. Complete pitching, clutch hitting, and a lineup that would not let off the gas.

Walsingham Senators 11U ran away with it at home, blowing out the Caledonia Bears 11U Rep 13-4. Leo A. went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI for Walsingham, while Reid P. and Logan S. each collected multiple hits to keep the Bears competitive
