Coming Up: Dundas Blues at Dunnville Jr. Mudcats
Friday at Dunnville Memorial Arena (7:30 p.m.), the Mudcats get a rematch with the team that sent them home with a 6-2 loss in Dundas on October 22. The Blues are second in the Bloomfield Division at 11-2-1 with 24 points, 70 goals for, 42 against, and the division's best power play at .500. Dunnville is eighth at 4-10-1 with 9 points and has dropped three straight.
The Mudcats have bright spots up front. Mason Demedeiros has 14 points in 12 games (nine goals), Matthew Humphrey has 14 in 14, and Luke Breadner has 13 in 15. The challenge is the goals-against column, 69 in 15 games. Dundas leans on Kael Andrew (20 points in 14 games) and Spencer Gendall (17 in 13), and the Blues dropped a 6-2 decision at Niagara on October 24, so both benches have something to prove.
Those numbers are from before Thursday's games, when Dunnville visits Niagara and Dundas hosts Hagersville. Get out to the rink on Friday, or catch it on SportsEngine Play, which lists the game on the schedule.
