Three days, dozens of hometown games, and one Tier 1 sweep to headline the weekend. TheSimcoe Giants 11U Tier 1capped Sunday with a doubleheader sweep of the Stratford Nationals at 197 Matilda Street. Across Norfolk and Haldimand, the Caledonia Bears 15U walked one off, the Simcoe Giants 16U ran the table against ranked competition, and the Haldimand Heat U13 packed a full weekend into three days on the diamond.
Game of the Weekend: Simcoe Giants 11U Tier 1 vs Stratford Nationals
Sunday at 197 Matilda Street, the Simcoe Giants 11U Tier 1 made it look easy in spots and made it work in others. Game one was a grind. Stratford hung tough, and the Giants leaned on starter Ben B, who spun five strong innings with two hits and nine strikeouts. Reid G slammed the door with two scoreless frames in relief. The bats found the moment they needed in the sixth, when Ben T laced a go-ahead two-run double. Liam H went 2-for-3 and Corbin S drove in a run. Final: Giants 4, Nationals 2.
Game two was a different kind of fun. The Giants jumped out early and never let up, rolling to a 15-6 win. Cooper F was the headliner, going 3-for-3 with an inside-the-park home run in the fourth and two RBI. Brock Z and Mak K each drove in a pair as Simcoe banged out 14 hits.
Two games, two wins, one Sunday sweep for the Tier 1 crew.

Friday
Six Nations Smoke 19U swept Friday, beating Guelph 9-2 and walking off London Lightning 6-5 on an Honee Anderson single in the fifth. Cara Skye homered, and Kolbee VanEvery went 3-for-3.
Simcoe Giants 16U edged the MNBA Tigers 5-4, grabbing the lead for good in the sixth. TJ Campbell-Poirier drove in two, and James Hamilton added two hits plus 3.1 innings of relief.
Haldimand Heat U13 swept a doubleheader, routing Huron Perth 21-7 and topping Palmerston 11-4. Skylar V drove in four and Emma F went 3-for-4.
Jarvis U15/17 Team #1 outlasted Team #2 in an 18-15 slugfest, rallying from 10-9 down. Linken Marcoux launched a fifth-inning grand slam for five RBI.
Caledonia Mets Select 13U came up just short at home, falling 13-10 to Murphy. Aaron H went 2-for-3 with two RBI, and Owen F doubled and drove in two.
Simcoe Giants 14U dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Waterloo, 9-6 and 5-3, out-hitting them in the opener. Gilbert and Hutchinson each had two hits.
Also Friday, the Simcoe Giants 15U and Tier 2 11U had tough nights, and the Port Dover Clippers SR led early before falling 8-3 in Tillsonburg.
Saturday
Simcoe Giants 16U turned in the weekend's signature day, sweeping ranked company 8-3 over Tier 1 Barrie and 10-4 over AA North Toronto. Hunter Smith went 6.1 innings, and TJ Campbell-Poirier went 3-for-4 with two doubles.
Caledonia Mets Select 13U bounced back to take two of three, rolling 17-2 over E.G. Rise and 12-2 over the Bandits. Hunter V went 3-for-3 with four RBI.
Haldimand Heat U13 split three games on a wild Saturday. The Heat scored eight in the fifth against Leamington before the Whitecaps walked it off, then answered 15-5 over the Blazers behind Emma T's four RBI.
Simcoe Giants 15U swept their day, beating Alvinston 15-5 and St. Marys 10-4. C Inman tossed a complete game with nine strikeouts.
U11 Haldimand Bulls 2026 rolled past Ayr 9-4 at Fisherville on a five-run fourth. Easton L struck out eight, and Emmett B cleared the bases with a triple.
Six Nations Smoke 19U split Saturday, answering a loss with a 9-2 win over Stratford. Jorja Bomberry drove in three, and Skye fanned nine over four scoreless.
Also Saturday, the Haldimand Heat 09 tied one and lost one at Smash It Sports, the Delhi Tigers fell to the Sailors, and the Simcoe Giants Tier 2 11U dropped a pair on the road.
Sunday
Caledonia Bears 15U gave Sunday its biggest moment, walking off the GNBA Falcons 8-7 in game one on a Myles Caton two-run single. G Lemanski went 3-for-4 with a two-RBI double. The Falcons took game two 10-6.
Simcoe Giants 16U swept again, winning 10-1 over Mississauga and blanking Waterloo 8-0. Jayden Ling threw a complete game, and L Shortt struck out 11 over 6.2 innings.
Simcoe Giants 15U blanked the Wranglers 15-0 behind G Armstrong's four scoreless innings to start. G Ramirez went 4-for-4 and B Martin drove in four.
Caledonia Mets Select 13U closed with an 8-6 win over Cambridge. Hunter V went the distance with 14 strikeouts and added a two-RBI triple.
Haldimand Heat 09 U17/16U battled to a 4-3 loss to the Wildcats, out-hitting them 7-4. S Harwood had two hits, with L Davies and M Evans each driving in a run.
Six Nations Smoke 19U dropped two one-run games, falling 3-2 to Guelph and 6-5 to Cambridge after a late comeback came up short. G Taylor went 3-for-3.
