Game of the Weekend: Norfolk Knights vs. Glancaster Bombers (U13AA)

Port Dover on a Saturday means hockey, and the Norfolk Knights U13AA are about to learn a lesson in patience. The Glancaster Bombers come to town, and the first period ends scoreless.

The Bombers break through in the second to take a 1-0 lead, and that is how it stands heading into the third. The Knights have not scored yet. They have one period to fix that.

They do, and then some. Norfolk scores twice in the final frame, first to level things up and then to take the lead for good. The Knights hold on from there.

Two periods without a goal, one big third, and a 2-1 win at home in Port Dover. That is a great way for a U13AA group to win a hockey game.

Final: Norfolk Knights 2, Glancaster Bombers 1.
