Game of the Weekend: Dunnville Jr. Mudcats vs. Streetsville Derbys (PJHL)

Friday night at Dunnville Memorial Arena, Streetsville and the Jr. Mudcats traded goals and went to the first intermission tied 2-2. Then the second period happened.

Dunnville scored four times in the middle frame, and Joey Pillitteri's goal in that stretch held up as the game-winner. Pillitteri finished with two on the night, and so did Mason Demedeiros. Kai Springmann, Breadner, Agnello and Carbone each added one, which is the kind of balance that makes a coach smile.

Streetsville got goals from Viveiros, Mitchell and Zammit, and the Derbys stayed in the shot count, with Dunnville edging them 36-32. But once the Mudcats got rolling, the home crowd had plenty to cheer about the rest of the way.

Final: Dunnville Jr. Mudcats 8, Streetsville Derbys 3.
