Hill United is bringing one of its biggest Chiefs Challenge tournaments yet to Simcoe Lions Park this weekend, Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, 2026. Twelve teams will battle across all three diamonds for the championship. Expect elite fastball, Simcoe Lions food, a beer tent between the gardens, and a 50/50 run by Simcoe Minor Baseball. First games start Friday at 6:00 PM. Here is everything you need to know to come out and watch.

Three Pools, Three Diamonds, One Championship

Hill United is hosting 12 teams split across three pools, all chasing the Chiefs Challenge title. The field includes clubs like the Ohsweken Redmen, Saskatoon Jacks, Townsend Tide, Sandlot Merchants, Toronto Batmen, Chippewa Chiefs, Northeast Drillers, and Midland Explorers, with the host Hill United Chiefs in the mix. Every game runs on the three diamonds at Simcoe Lions Park.

Friday action opens with games at 6:00, 6:15, and 6:30 PM, followed by a second wave at 8:00, 8:15, and 8:30 PM. Saturday is a full day of ball, with first pitch at 9:00 AM and the last games wrapping near 10:00 PM. Sunday brings the championship and consolation rounds, with games starting at 10:00 and 11:00 AM and noon.

The Simcoe Lions will handle the food, and a beer tent sits between the gardens. Simcoe Minor Baseball will be at the main gate greeting fans and selling 50/50 tickets, so the dollars you spend stay close to home.
